The Tucson Festival of Books

Hey you!

Got a hankering to draw Max, Pinky, and all kinds of peripheral characters? No? Well, you should still think about stopping by the University of Arizona this coming weekend (March 14-15) for the Tucson Festival of Books. That is if you're in the area.

I'll be there on Sunday doing a little drawing workshop where we'll learn to draw all of the A of M and P (Adventures of Max and Pinky) characters... and more!

More animals you ask? Like what else? Well, would you believe echidnas and didgeridoos? No? That doesn't sound accurate? Well, you've got a keen eye(s) my friends. Didgeridoos aren't animals. They're insects.

So, if you're still following me (watch out for that low branch), I'll be doing some drawing at 11:30 on Sunday. Of course, that'll be followed by me reading some Max and Pinky adventures at 2:30. Now, some of the kids there won't know the endings to each book, so don't ruin the surprises! Fireworks and pinatas! (Pending approval).

Anyway, again, it'll all be going down this coming weekend at the Tucson Festival of Books.
What's that? You're not that into "Festivals of Books"? More of a "Book Festivals" person? Well, that's fine too, because I'll be using both terms liberally! Almost wrecklessly!

You can find all of the details and forget all of this chaos right here: http://www.tucsonfestivalofbooks.org/

By the way, I'm pretty sure there will be some other authors there.

Your bud,
Maxwell
